CO2 emissions by district

The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) produces annual CO2 emissions estimates for individual local authority areas as well as for the UK as a whole.
CO2 accounted for 80% of greenhouse gas emissions in the UK in 2019, with the rest including methane (12%), nitrous oxide (5%) and fluorinated gases (3%).
CO2 emissions across the whole of the UK fell by 36% between 2005 and 2019. In Warwickshire, the picture varies depending on where you live:

District Figure in 2015 Figure in 2019 Percentage difference
Nuneaton and Bedworth 9.1 6.1 -34%

North Warwickshire 4.1 3.2 -22%
