The Tree Council
The Tree Council is a useful source of information if your school wants to get involved in planting more trees, or if you’d like to get your students thinking about a greener future.
Each year as part of their Orchards for Schools project they give away free school orchard tree and hedgerow packs to inspire and empower teachers and students around the UK to be a #ForceforNature by connecting, learning and caring for trees and nature. They also run a Young Tree Champions project to support you to deliver nature-learning projects and helping students to develop the knowledge, skills and tools they need to stand up and protect our planet.
So even if you miss the 10 February 2023 deadline to apply for the free orchard tree or hedgerow packs, you will still find lots of helpful advice and teaching resources which are free to use.
