Sustainable Warwickshire

Solar Together is an innovative scheme aimed at offering high-quality solar photovoltaic (PV) panels and battery storage. It is a group-buying scheme, which brings Warwickshire households together to get solar panels at a competitive price. 

Since launching in 2021, Solar Together Warwickshire has installed more than 1,000 solar panels in more than 100 homes. The installations to date will save over 1,900 tonnes of carbon in the county. 

However, the installation phase of the scheme has been challenging, partly due to global supply, local workforce obstacles and some Covid-19 related delays. This has unfortunately meant that this installation stage of the scheme is taking longer than initially anticipated.
