A creative response to Climate Change

Warwickshire school children have been making a creative reply to Climate Change as part of an art competition.

‘A creative response to Climate Change’ has been organised by the Warwickshire Climate Alliance and Warwickshire Open Studios, to encourage youngsters across the county to express their thoughts and feelings on the climate emergency.

Warwickshire Climate Alliance is an umbrella organisation of environmental groups in Warwickshire, which pushes for stronger action within the county on the climate emergency.

The competition was opened for schools in Warwick District, for children to draw, paint, photograph or write something that expresses their views and feelings about Climate Change.

A panel of judges awarded prizes in four age groups and awarded prizes to the school which submitted the best body of work. In total, a dozen winners and runners up have been selected.

The winning entries will be displayed in an exhibition at Leamington Library for two weeks, from Monday 25 April to Sunday 8 May.
