Napton Eco Fair

Come along to the Napton Eco Fair, taking place on Saturday 1 July at Napton Village Hall.

There'll be a chance to listen to and meet broadcaster, author and journalist Tom Heap, presenter of 'The Climate Show' on Sky News, 'Countryfile' on BBC One and the creator and presenter of the BBC podcast '39 Ways to Save the Planet.'

Run by the Napton Envrionmental Action Team, this is a great opportunity to learn more about what we can do to combat climate change and some of the fantastic steps being taken in our County to help fight the Climate Emergency.

Our active travel and recycling teams will be in attendance to give you practical advice on active travel options in the local area and recycling tips that will help you make the most of household waste.

  • Repair Cafe
  • Frock Swap
  • Fermentation
  • Low Energy Cooking

There'll be activities for the kids, local produce as well as the opportunity to learn about planet-friendly initatives and the technology behind them, such as electric cars and bikes, hydrogen fuel cells, solar electricity (PV), thermal imaging, UBUS community transport and more!
