In response to their climate emergency declarations, Warwick District Council and Stratford-on-Avon District Council jointly commissioned a Climate Action Support report by Anthesis. This is the foundation of one of three main climate action workstreams.

Climate change adaptation is also a key theme in the climate action plan for Rugby Borough Council.

In collaboration with the Environment Agency, Sustainability West Midlands have developed a climate change adaptation plan for the period 2021 to 2026. This plan sets out the actions that should be considered for implementation by decision makers in the West Midlands.
